Zelphia Hewes

.Zelphia Lynn Hewes, born February 7, 1948, passed away on September 23, 2023. She is remembered as a strong-willed and caring mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Helen Madden; husband, Robert Owen "Bob" Hewes; daughter, Roxanna Smith; brother, Ronald Newby; sister; LaDonna Johnson; granddaughter, Lynndsey Smith.

She is survived by her sons; Robert (Rhetta) Miller, Ronald (Melissa) Hewes and Mason Miller Hewes, her daughters; Rachael (Terry) Harryman, and Roberta Hewes; granddaughters, Tiffany (Jesse) Comacho, Amber (John) Hewes, Lauren (Evan) Rodriguez, Sarah (Cody) Brennan; great grandchildren, Blake Miller, Domanick Miller, Paisley Ellinger, Wyatt Ellinger, Journey Comacho, Jettie Rodriguez, Rosalee Brennan, Marina Rodriguez, and Kavin Comacho.

A visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
