Walter Lee White Sr.,73, passed away on October 12, 2020. He was born on February 21, 1947, in San Antonio, Texas.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Betty White; son, Walter White, Jr.; daughter, Amanda Wingate (Dallas Wingate); grandchildren, Brooke Garton (Cody Garton), Shelby Lynn White, Baylee Cheyenne White, Tayler Morgan White, Caden Lee Johnson, Robin Elizabeth Wingate, Holly Jordan Wingate; great-grandchildren, Riley Faith Garton, Ryan Grace Garton, Reed Parker Garton.

Walter was a cross between little man syndrome and counselor/ teacher. Between dirty old man and back row Christian. He had no problem telling you how he felt about things even if he knew you didn't like it. He was always there to help family and friends alike, no matter what. He was an old school tugboat captain with the mouth to prove it. He had endless stories of time spent on the water, and some he told you 10 times, but you just let him do it. Small in stature, big with his bark, but enormous in the heart. He was an angel, with no halo, and one wing in the fire. Truly one of a kind.
