Virgil passed away on 07-19-2023 at his residence in Port Aransas, Tx. He was a 2002 graduate of Port Aransas High School and a lifelong resident of Port A. He had Salt Water in his veins and shoes always optional.
Virgil was multi talented; a true jack of all trades and master of none. Despite his troubles, he thought of everyone as family. He loved to surf and spend time with family and friends.
He is survived by Parents Billie and Cindy Ellis of Bryan, Texas; his children- Angelina, Conlan, Cynthia Joyce and Ean Ellis; Grandmothers - Lydia D. Flores of Port Aransas, Texas and Emma Sue Everett of Bryan, Texas; Sisters- Sandra (Rob) Detwiler and Brittney (Russell) Heck, as well as multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends he considered family.
He is remembered as the life of the party.
A true Port Aransian.
A memorial visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 24th begining at 11:00 AM at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, 2003 W. Wheeler Ave., Aransas Pass, TX 78336. This is a come and go event, where we can share stories and love with each other.
A Celebration of Virgil's life will be held at a later date.
