 Violet Lodeska Marshall Brown

 Corpus Christi- Violet Lodeska Marshall Brown, 90, was called to be with our Lord and Savior on February 02, 2025. She was born May 30, 1934 in Dallas, Texas, to Etta Elizabeth Ferguson and Alfred E. Marshall.

 Violet attended schools in Dallas, Tx and College in Corpus Christi, Tx. She studied Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education, becoming a Certified Texas Peace Officer. She loved the police field, dispatching, wearing a fire arm, and riding in a squad car. She worked at several Police Departments in this area. She also did security at the University CCSU, now, Texas A&M. She retired from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1999. 

Violet lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and an unwavering passion for her family. She loved her animals, her dogs and cats, working outside in the yard, gardening, going to lunch with her church friends, drinking Dr Pepper, and reading her Globe & National Enquire magazines. She was a feisty little woman.

Violet is preceded in death by her parents, her step Daddy- Eugene Anderson McMullen, daughter DeAnn Marie Brown, son Ty Barton Eudy, and her brother Toliver Marshall. 

Left to cherish her memories is daughter Glenda Brown Ortiz, daughter in law Sylvia G. Eudy, grandchildren, Susan O. Gonzalez, Julie O. Arellano, Kasandra O. Hanney-Smith, and Ryan S. Eudy, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

 Also surviving a half sister, Barbara Dean Slaughter, and half brother, Roger Dale Marshall.
