Vicki Fleming

What can I say about mom. Vickie Lee Marie Maddis Fleming was born June 24, 1937. She was a member of the first graduating class of Arcadia High School in 1955. She was a figure skater and the Southwestern Regional Champion in 1954. At 19 years of age, she became a professional figure skater by joining the Ice Follies. In 1960 she met dad and upon seeing him shimmy out of his parachute after making a standing landing she decided that he was the man she would marry. She married the love of her life on September 3rd, 1960. 

She was blessed with eight children, thirteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Mom had a tremendous loving heart and put up with all or our friends and adopting them as her own. She was a teacher and our greatest cheerleader. She was there for all the bumps, bruises, and cuts always telling us it was all right to fall we just had to get back up. She was the most kind, loving and selfless person. She was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
