Todd William Bechtol IV

Todd William Bechtol IV, 40 years old, of Rockport Texas, passed away on July 10, 2024, surrounded by family. Todd was born on January 10, 1984, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Todd (Billy) William Bechtol, III. Todd grew up in Rockport from Fulton Beach Road to Lamar, and he spent his childhood hunting, fishing, and playing sports. After high school, Todd worked in the oilfield laying pipelines across Texas before joining his wife Ashley to operate their own business caring for rental properties in Rockport. 

 Todd William Bechtol, IV loved his wife and daughter deeply. He especially enjoyed watching Lilith grow up and excel in many sports. He had a deep love and connection with his dogs Apollo, Jaxson, Fatboy, Haynie, and Boots. Preceded in death by his beloved Whisky Girl. 

 He will be remembered for being the funniest person you ever met. 

 He was a fiercely loyal protector of his friends and family. His resume also consisted of excelling at golf, fishing, hunting of fowl and large game, and the tossing of horseshoes. Todd was also an exceptional cook and boiler of crawfish. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

 Todd William Bechtol IV is survived by his wife Ashley Solis, Daughter Lilith Solis, Father Todd (Billy) William Bechtol III, and In-laws Fidel and Hilda Garcia. Grandmothers Linda Bechtol and Benita Gonzales. Uncle Stephen Bechtol, Aunt Patti (Dean) Smith, Uncle Edward (Tracey) Bechtol, Uncle Brad (Kellie) Bechtol. Sister in-law Vanessa Solis and Bother in-law Jamey Solis. Nephew Daniel Solis. Cousins: Stephen (Anna) Bechtol II, Chase (Courtney) Bechtol, Katelyn (Anthony) Freasier, John Solis, Jake (Jamie) Solis, Joseph Solis, Evan (Morgan) Bechtol, Taylor Bechtol, Alex Bechtol, Bradlee Bechtol, and Ford Bechtol. He was preceded in death by Grandfather Todd William Bechtol, II.

 A visitation will be held on Thursday July 18, 2024, from 2:00 PM-7:00 PM. Rosary Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 7:00 PM. The funeral service is on July 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM. All services located at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas. A graveside burial will follow the service at Rockport Cemetery. Reception to be held after at Poor Man’s Country Club.
