Thalia Hilt

Thalia Joan Hilt, 90, of Corpus Christi, Texas, went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2024. She was born on February 28, 1934, in Lubbock, Texas, to parents, Hansel and Nellie Dodson.

Thalia is preceded in death by her husband Henry Hilt; ex-husband, William Turner; siblings, Larry Dodson, Reida Frank, Doris Wallac; daughters, Gayle Stone and Linda Turner; granddaughter, Linda Harvey; great-grandson, Michael Stone.

Joan married Henry Robert Hilt on July 17,1982. Joan worked as a Behavior Health RN at Bayview Behavior Physic and retired in 2013. She had a passion for Nursing, helping others, and taking care of family.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Susan Turner-Harvey and Debra Duke; grandchildren, Mary Harvey, Barbara Cotrich, Jeremey Turner, John Nieuwenhuijs, Jessica Duke, and Lynette Wright; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Harvey-Gorham, Lilly Cotrich, Jasmine Nieuwenhuijs, Aubree Carbajal, Addison Carbajal, John Nieuwenhuijs Jr., Wesley Turner, Ein Turner, Alouria Duke, Zacky Duke, Aubrey Duke Cecilia Duke, Jonathon Stone, Nicholas Stone, and Jamie Stone.

Joan will be dearly missed by those who cared for and loved her.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2024, at Boerne Cemetery, in Boerne, Texas.
