Terry Wayne Long

Terry Wayne Long,76, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2024. Terry was born on September 25, 1948, in Denton, Texas, to parents, Eldon and Charlene Long. 

Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Frances Long.

Terry was known as one of the good guys, who cherished his family and extended that nurturing care to students that he taught as a well-known and loved coach. He coached football, basketball, and track; but his love (and fame) was being a golf coach. His family and friends cherish the time they spent knowing and loving him. Terry is going to be dearly missed by all the lives he touched throughout his lifetime. 

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Mary Ann Long; daughters, Blair Cuherpin (Daryle), and Carrie Brenon (John); stepson, Billy Lindley; siblings, Sherrie Linsteadt, Charla Long, and Jim Long (Karen); grandchildren, Brooke Lindley, Abbey Brenon, Aiden Brenon, Bradyn Lindley, Addison Brenon, Annie Rose Lindley.

Visitation will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. The Funeral service will be on Thursday, December 12, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Aransas Memorial Park.
