Terry Jones, Sr.

Terry Reed Jones Sr., 62, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2017 alongside family and at his home in Taft, Texas. He was born in Refugio, Texas on February 13, 1955 to John Paul Jones and Marian Wade Jones who have preceded him in death.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Robbin Lynn Jones of Taft, Texas; sons, Terry Reed Jones Jr. (Janelle) of Ingleside, Texas, Jeremiah Wayne Jones (Jennifer Nicole) of Seguin, Texas; step-sons, Shawn Bruce of Pampa, Texas and Brett Reed (Dejah Russel) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; step-daughters, Brandy Reed of Portland, Texas and Tiffany Sloan of Houma, Louisiana; brother, Tommy Jones of Ingleside, Texas; sister, Kathy Fake of Ingleside, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; one great-grandson and many dear friends.

Terry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a dear friend to so many. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was always happiest when he was surrounded by them. He was a man of pride who always went above and beyond in anything he set his mind to. He was a Master Mason, enjoyed fishing, hunting and the simple things in life. He was a great man and although he is gone, his memory and life lessons will live in our hearts forever.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from nine o'clock in the morning until nine o'clock in the evening; with the family present from six o'clock until nine o'clock. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at ten o'clock in the morning. All services will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. Interment will follow immediately after at The Palms Memorial Garden in Portland, Texas.
