Sussie Vana

Sussie Elizabeth Perkins Vana, 94 passed away with her family by her side on July 15, 2017. She was born November 2, 1922 in San Antonio, Texas to James Paul and Lula Dan Nichols.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Louis Vana, Sr.; son, Dana Vana; granddaughter, Elizabeth Vana; daugher -in - law, Carla Vana; five brothers and sisters.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two sons, Robert Louis Vana, Jr. (Shannon) of Ingleside, George Ray Vana (Nora) of Aransas Pass; daughter-in-law, Doodle Kocvrek of Aransas Pass; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00p.m.-9:00p.m. Monday, July 17, 2017 and Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 all at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
