"We don't die, we live on thru the memories we leave behind."

A Letter From Heaven

(authored by Alena Hakala Meadows)

When tomorrow starts without me

And I'm not there to see;

If the sun should rise and find your eyes

All filled with tears for me.

I wish so much you wouldn't cry

The way you did today;

While thinking of the many things

We didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me

As much as I love you;

And each time that you think of me,

I know you'll miss me too.

When tomorrow starts without me,

Don't think we're far apart

For every time you think of me,

I'm right here in your heart.

Steve Krohn, 65, of Rockport, Texas passed away peacefully on July 10, 2020, from complications of his cancer which he fought courageously for several years. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Misty Krohn. Steve is also survived by his mother-in-law, Verna Dean Taylor; siblings, David Taylor (Essie), Steven Taylor (Kathy), Richard Taylor (Tina), Arika Cavalera and Todd Krohn; his nephews and nieces Christopher Ayala (Katie Coon), Jessica Ayala (Jared Nordman), Nick Jacobs, Jaycee Taylor, Abbey Taylor and Emma Taylor.

Steve joined the U. S. Navy in 1972 and was Honorably Discharged in 1978. He served Active Duty in the Vietnam War (1973) on the USS Constellation CV-64. He was proud to have served his country. Steve was dedicated to his work in the telecommunications industry for 30+ years before retiring. Many great friendships were developed through those years.

In remembrance, Steve enjoyed traveling with his wife, golfing and fishing with his buddies, however, uniquely he was the life of the party with a special gift to make everyone laugh. He was loyal to a fault and one-of-a-kind, loved by so many. So if you knew Steve, you know right now he is either drinking Crown Royal, about to drink Crown Royal or he is thinking about drinking Crown Royal. CHEERS!
