Steve M. Herndon, 82, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2018 at his residence in Rockport, TX, surrounded by his loving family. Steve was born on March 26, 1936 in Springfield, IL, to John W. Herndon and Calista Twist, who preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Judith Ann Lock Herndon; his four children, Steve (Kathleen) Herndon Jr., Anne (Stuart) Denton, Martha (Bob) Renkoski and Elizabeth (Dana) Fletcher.

A celebration of life will be held in his loving memory at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church of Rockport, TX, located at 801 E Main St, Rockport, TX 78382.

Senior Pastor Laura Hewett Becker will be conducting his service.
