Steirly Rozzell

S. Reese Rozzell, 75, of Rockport, Texas, died Sunday, June 23 in his home.

Reese graduated from Ray High School before attending St. Mary's University. After graduating from law school he spent four years in the Army as a JAG officer. A lifelong resident of the area, Reese spent the next 40 years practicing law as a local judge and attorney, specializing in criminal defense. He was an avid hunter and golfer. Reese was preceded in death by his mother, Ara Jean, father Steirly, younger brother Bart, and wife Janie.

A loving father and grandfather, he is survived by his three children: Chris, Colter, and Chesley, and by three grandchildren: Brooke, Jackson, and Christopher.

A memorial service will be held at Charlie Marshall funeral home in Rockport on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 2:00pm with a reception following the service.
