In loving memory of Stacy Diann Day, a beautiful soul who touched the lives of many, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2023, at the age of 37. Born on September 3, 1986, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Stacy lived a vibrant and adventurous life.
Stacy was a woman of determination and resilience. Despite facing challenges, she obtained her Graduate Equivalence Degree in 2006, proving her unwavering commitment to education.
Stacy embraced a career as a certified substitute teacher and also served her community as a dedicated skate park attendant for the City of Ingleside. She had an immense love for the beach and spent many joyful hours in the sun and sand.
Family was of utmost importance to Stacy, and she was married to her husband Ricky Torres for eight years.
Stacy also had a compassionate heart and actively volunteered at various clinics and hospitals, spreading warmth and kindness to those in need. Her selflessness was truly admirable.
Stacy was predeceased by her grandparents, Alvin and Geraldine Day, as well as Louis and Pearl Stoddard. She was also preceded in death by her uncles, Charles Day and Arthur (Sonny) Tucker, and her aunts, JoAnn Jameson and Patricia Glover.
Leaving behind cherished memories are her beloved parents, Darla and Robert Stoddard, her two adoring sons, Matthew and Joshua Day, and her supportive brothers, Scott (Roxanne) Day and Terryl (Stacy) Stoddard. Stacy's spirit will continue to be felt by her 17 nieces and nephews, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In accordance with Stacy's wishes, she will be laid to rest at Prairie View Cemetery following the funeral service, scheduled for December 15, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
May Stacy's vibrant spirit and loving nature continue to shine on, forever in our hearts. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
