Socorro Lopez

Socorro M. Lopez of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 75. Born in Laredo, Texas, on July 10, 1948, Socorro was a proud Hispanic woman with roots tracing back to Mexico. 

Socorro was a kind-hearted soul who always put others before herself. She was married to Cesar R. Lopez whom was the light of her life. She had a passion for the outdoors and was a very religious woman. Her warm smile and nurturing nature touched the lives of many around her. 

Socorro is preceded in death by her husband, Cesar, her son, Cesar Jr., and her daughter, Elizabeth. 

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Hull and Jessica Lopez, as well as her grandchildren, Sam Jr., Christina, Elizabeth, Chery, Jennifer, and numerous great-grandchildren.

In her passing, Socorro leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience that will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace
