Sigelfredo Garza Jr

April 23, 1968 — August 16, 2019

Aransas Pass

With extreme sadness, we regretfully announce that the Lord has called Sigelfredo Garza, Jr., better known as “FLACO or Freddy,” home. His life was taken in a tragic traffic accident while on his motorcycle in Corpus Christi, Texas on Friday night August 16, 2019.

He was the first born son of Maria G. Collins of Aransas Pass, Texas and Sigelfredo Garza, Sr. of the Houston Texas area. He was born April 23, 1968.

He was preceded in death by his infant siblings Rodolfo and Rosalina Garza, his little brother Rodolfo Collins, his infant granddaughter Karina Maelyn Garza, and his Dad Robert Collins.

He was known by many and everyone knew of his love of cars and motorcycles! He spent many of his years transforming his vehicles into his own unique lowrider style! He was introduced into motorcycle driving just recently and it became his new passion to be able to ride his bike every chance he had!

Flaco was a kind and generous person who would give unselfishly to his friends and family in their times of need. He was a true family man!

He was devoted to his mother and a proud father of three beautiful children Sigelfredo “Tito”/“Freddy” Garza III, Leon Garza, and his baby girl Marissa Garza. He was the happiest in the company of his three grand-babies Robert James Garza, Kimberly Rayne Garza, and Leiani Elise Garza! The best big brother to Michael Edwards, Micaela Edwards, Rudy Wasielewski and Britina Collins. Caring brother to Robert (Angie) Collins of Houston, Patricia (Steve) Clericuzio of Boston, Joyce Ann (Derrick) of New Hampshire. Many nieces and nephews and way too many primos, which includes his friends, to list but they all held a special place in his heart.

We’d like to thank our lovely lady pallbearers: sister Britina Collins, sister Micaela Edwards, niece Joschlyn Edwards, cousin Michelle Davila, 2nd cousin Mindy Castro, daughter-in-law Cathy Gardley, and Michelle Sanchez.
