Shirley Mcginnis

Shirley Lucille McGinnis passed away October 3, 2017. She was 74 years old. She was born October 20, 1942 in Big Rapids, Michigan to Billie and Hazel Lucille Barber.

She is preceded in death by her parents Billie and Hazel Lucille Barber; husband, William S. McGinnis; step-father, Charles McDougal; sister, Kaylene Alexander; niece, Lynette Hartsfield.

She is survived by her son, Bill McGinnis (Bettina); daughters, Lucie Harris (Charles), and Lacy Rodgers (Chris); grandchildren are, Madeline McGinnis, Amie Geistman, William Geistman (Brittney), Kyle Harris, Austin Harris, Lindy Rodgers, and Sean Rodgers.

The family would like to thank Harbor Hospice and Coastal Palms Nursing Home for their service and caring personnel.

Visitation will be held October 5, 2017 from 10:00 am to service time of 1:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery.
