Shirley Jurenka

Shirley Lea Jurenka, 84, went to be with The Lord on May 3, 2020. She was born on December 12, 1935 to parents Bill Amey and Willa Ruth Amey in Otoe Township, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Gilbert Gordon Jurenka, her parents; her son David Allen Jurenka and many other extended family members and close friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Mark Jurenka and Keith Jurenka; and one daughter, Jodi Helmer; 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.

Shirley loved spending time with her family most of all.  She also enjoyed entertaining friends in her home and was most likely better at hunting and fishing than most men.   She will be greatly missed by all who knew her as she never met a stranger, but her memory will live in our hearts forever.

Due to recent events the celebration of her life will be postponed until a later date when we will notify her friends and family to join us.  Any condolences are welcomed by the family through the Charlie Marshall Funeral Homes website.
