Shelley Patterson Frey

Shelley Patterson Frey, 69, went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2025. She was born to parents, George Patterson and Muriel Powell, in Alice, Texas, on July 16, 1955. 

Preceded in death by father George "Pat" Patterson, mother Muriel Powell, and beloved younger brother Rodney Patterson

Survived by daughter, Candice Gilbert & husband Robert, Lucas Frey & wife Ashley, Caitlin Saul & husband John; Grandchildren, Tyler Dunn & wife Jessica Dunn, Kayla Gilbert-Goodman & husband Miles Goodman, Trace Paredez, Jaradyn Saul, Holden Paredez, Brynn Paredez, Faith Saul, Halle Frey, Lucas Frey, Bejamin Frey; sister, Mona LeLeux and sister Rhonda Dent & husband Greg

Shelley liked to read and birdwatch. She was very intelligent and was full of what she always called "useless" knowledge but really meant you could never beat her at trivia games. She loved her family, animals, Bryan Adams 80's music and Dr. Pepper. But mostly, she was was devoted to her Beloved Lord and Savior Jesus and to serving Him at the Ingleside Methodist Church, where she was a member for more than 30 years. She was in the choir and active in children's ministries as well as a number of other ministries. She was deeply loved and will be missed here but we are all rejoicing with her that she is now safe and happy in the arms of her Father in Heaven!
