Sharon K. Davis, 80, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018, at her home in Port Aransas, TX, surrounded by her loving family.
Sharon was born on December 13, 1937 in Greene County, Iowa, to Esma LeRoy and Iva Mae Peters, who preceded her in death. She met the love of her life Harry P. Davis and got married in 1956. In 1980, they moved down to Port Aransas, TX from South Sioux City, NE. In 1984, she purchased Funtime RV Park, which she successfully owned and managed for several years. She was an amazing wife, a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother. Sharon will be remembered for her big heart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry P. Davis; two daughters, Mary Lou Davis and Cheryl Jean Johnson.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sherry Ramirez; son, Ed Davis; brother, Larry (Norma) Peters; two sisters, Janet (Johnnie) Scott and Linda McDonald; ten grandchildren, Sharon K. Brentlinger, Dawn (Aaron), Travis (Summer) Boyle, Trenton (Megan) Jonson, Tyler (Cathy) Johnson, Mylissa (Justin) Green, Nick (Autumn) Krisl, Jeremy (Tiffany) Davis, Brandon Davis and Amanda Davis; twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and many, many others who called her mom and grandma.
