Shannon Owen

Shannon Bullard Owen, went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2019. She was born September 27, 1948 to parents Kelly and Betty Bullard, in San Antonio Texas.

Shannon was a 1966 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in San Antonio, where she would become a golden girl with the San Antonio Rodeo, spending two decades in corporate sales training. Shannon spent the last 13 years working at The Hampton Inn in Rockport, where she made strangers feel like family and formed strong bonds with the regulars.  She loved writing, reading and growing not only plants but friendships and community.

Shannon was a strong independent woman who never meet a stranger, who loved wholeheartedly and gave unconditionally, she made the world a better place with her love and laughter.

Left to cherish her memory her son, Michael Gene Brantley; daughter, Traci (Steven) Sandoval; two grandchildren, Cosmo Kincaid Wilson and Spase Maximillien Sandoval.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
