Shannon Lafreniere

Shannon Darlene Lafreniere, 50 yrs, was granted her angel wings on January 31, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends in the comfort of her Rockport home.
Shannon is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Kyle Lafreniere, her sons Kyle Lafreniere, Jr. (J.J.), Raymond Lafreniere (Laura), her mother Linda Bowman, her sister Jamie Puckett (Brent), her brothers Rod Bowman (Lisa), and Thomas Bowman as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Nelson Bowman.
Shannon was born in Upland, California where she met her first love and future husband at the age of 17. The couple, along with their first son, moved to Rockport in 1991.
Shannon loved the beach, fishing and could dance a mean 2-step. Family and friends were always at the top of her priority list and everyone that knew her was a better person because of it.
A celebration of life for Shannon will be held at the home of Kim and Ted Walker, 203 Sunset Dr. in Rockport on February 20th at 2:00pm.
