Scott "Scotty" William Smith

                            In Remembrance of our dear brother and uncle Scott William Smith (Scotty) 

                                 Death leaves a heartache No one can heal Love leaves a memory No one can steal.

Born May 21, 1959, in Schenectady, N.Y. Departed this life October 24, 2024, in Rockport, TX. Scotty’s main love in his life was his family! He was always the first one there to lend a helping hand if needed, and he would gladly give his last dime to make life better for those he loved. He was always great at remembering everyone’s birthday and would try and find a way to make it special. He truly did have a heart of gold even if it didn’t look that way on the outside. His family was everything and we will truly miss him. 

I think of  you today

 And that is nothing new

 I thought of you yesterday 

And will tomorrow too I think of you in silence 

And make no outward show 

For what it meant to lose you 

I think no one will ever know 

You did not get a chance to say goodbye 

You were gone before I knew it 

And only God knows why 

Your golden heart stopped beating 

Your tender hearts at rest 

God broke my heart 

To prove to me 

He only takes the best 

Its very lonely here without you

 I miss you more each day 

Life has not been the same for me

 Since you were called away

 Each time I see this picture 

You seem to say 

                                                                                 Don’t cry dear sister (brother, niece, nephew) 

                                                                              I’m only sleeping – We will meet again one day.
