Rosina "Rose" Heslep

Rosina “Rose” Francis Heslep passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Christs Spohn Hospital Shoreline.

She was born October 21, 1937, in Yoakum, Texas daughter of the late William and Albina Matocha.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed and survived by her son Robert Heslep, Jr. and daughters Shirley Heslep, Diana Foster and her husband James; 6 grandchildren, Billy Trager, Cody Thomas, Allison Wappler, Matthew Stephens, Meagan Cheney, and Colton Thomas; and by 5 great-grandchildren Spencer Stephens, Peyton Thomas, Caylee Thomas, Jaxtyn Trager and Austin Wappler.  She was predeceased by her daughter Cynthia Golden and 3 brothers, William, Reginald and Roosevelt Matocha.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, July 30th at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, 2003 W. Wheeler Ave., Aransas Pass, Texas 78336.  Family and friends are welcome to visitation beginning at 11 am.  Burial will follow at Palms Memorial Garden Cemetery.
