Rodney Pierce

Rodney Phillip Pierce, 57, of Cuero passed away Friday, August 9, 2019.  He was born December 2, 1961 in Janesville, Wisconsin to the late Roger K. Pierce and Edna Louise Williams.  He married Charlotte Echols on February 19, 1982 in Rockport.  He spent many years on the water working his way up to Tow Boat Captain where he retired.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing and spending time with his grandkids, watering the garden every day, and playing his guitar and talking about music.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Charlotte; daughters; Nacole Martin (Mike) of Katy, Terra Pierce of Cuero; son, Ethan Pierce (Erica) of Mission Valley; sisters, Zoa Pierce of Temple, Leah Miller of Temple; brother, Danny Echols(Maricelia) of Canton; grandchildren, Michael and Elva Pierce, Zane and Wyatt Pierce, Joseph Cluiss, Gavin and Ayden Hendershott and Sabrina Echols.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Debra Jean Pierce and brother, Roger K. Pierce Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass.  Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass.

Pallbearers include Ethan Pierce, Eddie Pearson, Travis Pearson, Mike Martin, Michael Key and Danny Echols.

Honorary Pallbearers include Michael Pierce, Gavin Hendershott, Ayden Hendershott, Zane Pierce and Wyatt Pierce.
