Rodney Hill

August 14, 1962 — March 10, 2025

It is with profound sorrow and yet deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Rodney W. Hill, a cherished brother, friend, and devoted husband. Rodney was born on August 14, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas, and entered eternal rest on March 10, 2025, in Aransas Pass, Texas.

Rodney's life was a testament to kindness and acceptance. He had a unique ability to see the good in everyone, welcoming people into his heart with open arms. Whether it was casting a line into the tranquil waters or sharing a hearty laugh over a well-timed joke, Rodney always embraced life with an infectious smile. A serious man at times, he maintained an unwavering spirit that masked any ailment he faced, demonstrating a remarkable resilience.

Having spent many years working for SGS Petroleum, Rodney's dedication extended beyond his profession; he was driven by a profound passion for both people and fishing-a pursuit that brought him both peace and joy. He was married to the love of his life, Sheryl Hill, who preceded him in death, along with his parents, Tim and Barbria Hill.

Rodney leaves behind a loving family that includes his brother, Ricky Hill, and his beloved sisters-Rhonda Hill, Rebecca (Becky) Hill-Alexander, and Destiny Hill. Together, they carry forward the memory of his gentle spirit and the warmth he brought into their lives.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that those wishing to honor Rodney's memory consider a donation to a charity of their choice, especially those that support initiatives aligned with his love of community and nature.

We invite all who knew him to join us in celebrating a life that was truly remarkable. Rodney W. Hill will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
