Reverend Roberto Bran Morales, age 84, of Rockport, Texas, passed away on April 17, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 1, 1939, in Antigua, Guatemala. Rev. Morales earned his bachelor’s degree from the Mexican Baptist Bible Institute and served as a dedicated minister, fostering spiritual growth within the communities of Lyford, Rockport, and Ingleside, Texas. His unwavering commitment to sharing the Gospel and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of many.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Narciso Morales and Maria De La Luz Bran, as well as his cherished wife of 39 years, Elma G. Morales. Left to carry on his legacy are his daughters, Ellen Marlene Sueoka and Joy Lynn Pena, along with his grandchildren, Christian Faith and Phillip Matthew Flora Giron and Alex Giron, and great-grandchildren, Aubrey Love, Eric Vincent, and Jordan Noah Sueoka. He is also survived by his sisters, Celia A. Reynosa, Martha Letran Bran, and Mary Iglesias.
The funeral service for Rev. Roberto Bran Morales will be held at 1:30 pm.Thursday April 25, 2024 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass with burial to follow in Aransas Memorial Park. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
