Robert Walker

Robert Harold Walker, 88, passed away peacefully at his home in Ingleside, Texas on April 23, 2017. He was born on December 16, 1928 in Breckenridge, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Nancy Walker and sister, Rosemarie Mayhall. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Joan Elizabeth Walker; daughter, Elaine Donges and her husband Bill of East Chatham, New York; one grandson and many dear friends.

Robert was a loving husband and a dear friend to so many. He was a proud veteran who served in the Army from 1948 until 1952. He was proud of his work as a Printer and traveled many years working before settling in Ingleside, Texas. Although he is gone, his memory will remain in our hearts forever.

A Visitation will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at The Coastal Bend Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
