Robert Pattillo Higgins

Robert Pattillo Higgins, 80, of Rockport, TX, passed away on March 8, 2025 from respiratory failure.

Robert was born on January 19, 1945 in San Antonio, TX to the late Pattillo Jr. and Evelyn Higgins. He was preceded in death by parents and sister, Patricia Higgins-Read. Robert is survived by his wife of 50 years, Florence Higgins, his children Pattillo Higgins of Sutherland Springs, TX, April Higgins of San Antonio, TX, and Jack Higgins of Bothell, WA, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert spent much of his life farming and ranching in Sutherland Springs, TX. Following retirement, Robert and Florence moved to Rockport, TX. Robert enjoyed time with family, friends and books.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
