Richard Rudzinski

Richard Alfred Rudzinski, 83, born in Detroit, MI, passed away Wednesday, April 3rd at home with his friends and family, he was a long time resident of Rockport, TX. He was very loved, and lived an interesting, beautiful life. In his youth, he was an esteemed scientist who worked on the Mars Project and the Super Collider Project, and was recognized by the President of the United States for his work. He was proud to have served his country in the Navy, as a Nuclear Scientist, and in his work. Richard was a very devoted Christian who supported charities, and was always willing to lend a helping hand or a wise word.


Richard was preceded in death by his beautiful, loving wife Jane, sister, Christine Korte and his granddaughter, Dana Young.


He leaves behind a stepdaughter, Mary Logan (Lee), Grandsons; Brent Logan (Sherry), Drew Logan (Karen), as well as six great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, and countless friends who loved him very much.


A celebration of Life Ceremony will be held for him soon, the date and time will be posted to his Facebook account, and shared in the Rockport Facebook Groups.
