Richard Walter Friesenhahn, 91, was called home on October 15, 2019. He entered this world on September 1, 1928 in Pawnee, TX, born to Richard and Guadalupe Friesenhahn. Richard proudly served in the Army from 1952 - 1954.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Minnie D. Friesenhahn and granddaughter, Michelle Friesenhahn.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sons, Richard Friesenhahn (Josephine) of Aransas Pass, John Anthony Friesenhahn (Nora); daughters, Patsy Ann Dugas of Aransas Pass, Christine Zemites (William), Laura Marie Marconi (Timothy); brother, Roscoe Friesenhahn; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren.
A Public Viewing will be held from 10:00a.m.-9:00p.m. on Friday, October 18, 2019, with Rosary to be recited by Deacon Art Provencio at 7:00p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Father James Vasquez. Burial will follow at Aransas Memorial Park.
