Rebecca Wagner

Rebecca "Becky" Wagner, 73, passed away peacefully at her Rockport Home on February 7, 2017. She was born on February 19, 1943 in McAllen, Texas to Edgar and Ola Martin.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Rebecca is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Kenneth Carl Wagner; sons, Troy Mann of Bulverde, Texas and Todd Mann (Letty) of McAllen, Texas; brothers, James Martin (Linda) of Bulverde, Texas, David Martin of Florida and Mark Martin ( Nancy) of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, Lainie Kretz of McAllen, Texas, Reagan Kretz of McAllen, Texas and many dear friends.

Rebecca was an outstanding and well respected educator. She served as a Superintendent for three different school districts throughout her career. After her retirement, she took up art as her hobby and was very talented in her work. Her family would like to remember Becky also for her Beauty, her love for her family, friends and life. Although she is gone, her memories and life lessons will live in our hearts forever.

Family services will be private, arrangements entrusted to Charlie Marshall Funeral Home.
