Rachel Flores

Our mother, Rachel R. Flores, was called home to heaven on March 1, 2018. She was 82 years of age and fought a courageous battle with liver cancer. She was born on July 15, 1935 in Rockport Texas to Pete and Guadalupe Ramirez.

Mrs. Flores was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Rockport, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Guadalupe Ramirez; her husband, Manuel Flores; and daughter, Regina Flores.

She is survived by her children; Manuel, Zinnia, Cathy (John), Gracie, Sarah, Joe, Henrietta, Becky (Kevin) Gerry, Rachel (Tommy) and Andrew (Jennifer); Brother, Pete (Gertrude) Ramirez of Austin, TX; Sister-in-law, Minerva Dominguez of Newport News, VA and Cipriana Flores of Rockport, TX; 28 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 8 great-great- grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Serving as Pallbearers will be her loving grandsons, Christopher Flores, Ruben Guzman, Matthew Flores, John Edward Pulido, Chas Edler, Robert Wagoner, Trey Smith and Andrew Flores II. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Vannatter Jr., Tony Pulido, Tristen Smith and Tiergan Smith.

Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018 with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home of Aransas Pass, TX.

Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport, TX. Burial will follow at Rockport Cemetery in Rockport, TX.
