Penny Mason

Penny Mason Maldonado beloved wife, mother, grandma, and great friend, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on April 4, 2019. She was called to her eternal resting place and went to be with our Lord and to be with her daughters, mom and dad. She entered this world on June 13, 1947 in Marion, Ohio.

She then moved to Port Aransas, TX where she called home for 40+ years where she raised her family. She was committed to her family making sure they all knew they had her support to achieve their highest potential. She was a very hard worker in everything she did in life. She lived for her kids and grandkids and was very proud of all of them very much.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years Art Maldonado of Port Aransas, TX; her ex-husband, James Mason, Sr. of Florida; brothers, Don, Greg, Tim, Davie from Ohio; sons, James Mason. Jr of Port Aransas, TX, Nick Jewell of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Shana Maldonado and Anetra Skene of Port Aransas, TX; her son in law, James Cluiss from Aransas Pass, TX; 13 grandkids, Mario, Geno, Tao, Brandon, Amber, Haley, Jaylynn, Jason, Dylan, Destiny, James Mason III, Nathan, Nathalie; also all her family and friends from Port Aransas, TX, Florida, and Marion Ohio.

We miss and love you so much mom, to the moon and back
