Peggy Fletcher

Peggy Jo Burton-Fletcher (PJ), 70, of Ingleside On the Bay, Texas, passed away Monday August 21, 2017. She was born February 16, 1947 in Columbia, KY. She was the daughter of Leonard Burton and Virginia Sinclair-Burton. She is survived by her husband, Dr. John L Fletcher and children Dr. Greg & Wilma Klaus, David & Susan Carpenter; Stepchildren Lynn (Buzz) Fletcher and Jana & Barry Markowitz; Grandchildren Olivia & Sean Carpenter, Claire, Emma & Owen Fletcher, Aaron and Julie Markowitz; Siblings Barbara Fuhr, Homer & Ruth Burton, Randall & Jan Burton, Terry & Diane Burton, Garry Burton and Rickey Burton. She is preceded in death by brothers Gilbert Burton and Wendell Burton. PJ was a unique soul who left an everlasting impression on everyone she met. She had a big heart and took in all sorts of strays, in some cases nursing the sick back to health. She will be sorely missed.

Service will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, on Saturday September 9th at 10am. She will be laid to rest on Saturday September 9th at 1pm in a mausoleum at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi.
