Paul Thomas Gerhard

Paul Thomas Gerhard passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in Rockport, Texas.

He was born in Summit, New Jersey, on June 4, 1955, the son of John T. Gerhard and Alice Miller Gerhard, who preceded him in death

Paul grew up in La Grange Park, Illinois, where he attended St. Joseph High School and Illinois State University.

In 1988, Paul moved to Rockport, Texas, and found his niche working at the golf pro shop at Rockport Country Club for more than 25 years.

He is survived by his brother, John Gerhard of Loveland, Colorado, and sister, Geri Spohn of Portland, Oregon; 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 3 grandnieces, and 5 grandnephews. Paul was an avid golfer, an avid Chicago Bears and Black Hawks fan, and enjoyed walks on the beach.

 A memorial gathering will be Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas.
