Paul Benavides

Paul Marcus Benavides,75, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 16, 2024. Paul was born on June 26, 1948, to parents Marcus and Susie Benavides in Aransas Pass, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents and all his brother and sisters.

Paul married the love of his life, Elvia Yolanda Benavides on March 22, 1978. He had a career as a welder and became a Certified Welding Inspector. He retired in 2020 and was a member of the V.F.W. and the Big Red One.

Paul had a passion for his family, loved traveling with his darling wife, drinking with his favorite choice of brandy, collecting guns, watching sports, and cheerleaders! He was famous for ALWAYS telling his stories and we will miss hearing them.

Left to cherish his stories and memories is his loving wife and family, Yolanda Benavides; children, Maria, Paul, Bare, Eric and Danny Benavides; daughter-in-law, Brissy Benavides; grandchildren, Xavier, Lauren, Angel, Briana, Carlos, Arianna, Dominick, Kruz, and Reina Benavides; great-grandchildren, Ryliee, Aria, and Beckham.

Visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Interment to follow at San Antonio Cemetery.
