Patricia Krueger

Patricia Davis Krueger passed away on December 14, 2017 after a short illness.

Pat came to Rockport in 1963 with her late husband Carl and helped him establish a thriving community on Key Allegro Island, where they lived with their two daughters. Primarily a homemaker, she became an avid amateur artist, offshore fisherman and tennis player. By the late 1980s, Pat was also the proprietor with her husband of the Key Allegro Yacht Club.

Pat spent her secondary education years in Seattle, Washington where she graduated from Lincoln High School, but being a native Texan, returned for college at the University of Texas, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree. Shortly thereafter, she married Carl in 1953 and they resided in San Antonio until moving to Rockport.

Pat was preceded in death by her father, Perry Davis; stepmother, Virginia Davis; mother, Ann McKenzie; and brother, Perry Davis Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Carla Krueger Rinche, and briefly survived by daughter Linda Woodard (Lawrance), who passed away on December 14, 2017 as well. She is survived by granddaughter, Shawna Rinche; grandson, Maximilian Rinche; granddaughter, Marisa Neal (Jason); and two great grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life scheduled on a date to be determined. Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the American Diabetes Association or Harbor Hospice.
