Patricia A. “Pat” Brown sailed safely to Heaven on May 31, 2022 to unite with her loving husband Coy Brown. She was born March 25, 1942 in Reading, Pennsylvania.
She leaves behind her beloved children, Melonie Brown Kendrick (Robert) and Robert Baugher (Christine) of Ingleside, Texas. As well as her beloved Grandchildren Sterling Deverter (Victoria), Abigail Milner Wells (Brandon), Michael Jimenez (Fabiola), Emily Jimenez, Marc Jimenez, and one Great Granddaughter on the way.
Pat was the greatest fishing woman, who also loved God, quilting, knitting, and her favorite football team the Florida Garters. But mostly loved being around her family and dear friends. With her warm and loving heart, she also loved her community. She donated her time at the Aransas Pass Moose Lodge 2063 Chapter 1972 and proudly served as the Senior Regent in the year 2014, she received her Academy of Friendship in 2012 and served on many chairs. Community service, Chaplain, Guide, Junior Regent and helped in many other benefits at the lodge.
Pat was an adventurist as a young lady, alongside her family, her father took her to sail the east coast to Fort Lauderdale. As they resided in Florida, she was involved in the movement of inequality in protest, as she went through it in high school. Later in life, she met her love at a store they both worked at and married. They then gathered up kids and household items and headed to Indiana. In Indiana, she worked as a concession stand manager for the Historic Billie Creek Village for years. When she was not at the Village, she created crafts wither her husband and mother-in-law and traveled West to many craft shows. She never drove or wanted to drive, so her mother-in-law pushed her quickly to learn how to drive on the side of a mountain. She also helped in many bake sales and crafts at the Covered Bridge Festival in Indiana.
She lived an awesome life. She was dearly loved by everyone who met her and she leaves behind a memory of her smile and sweet laughter. GOD blessed her in many ways on many days.
A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held at 4:00p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the Aransas Pass Moose Lodge.
