Omar Gutierrez, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, entered eternal rest on January 11, 2025, at the age of 40. Born on November 13, 1984, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Omar thrived as a vibrant spirit who could light up any room with his infectious laughter and boundless energy. He is survived by his father, Amador Gutierrez (Rubia), and his sister, Anna Kucera (Brad). He will be forever cherished by his nieces, Ruby and Mariana, and his nephews, Jacob and Andrew and his dog Tanner.
Omar is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Gutierrez, and his beloved sister, Anna Maria Gutierrez; aunt, Sr. Delia Gutierrez. He also joins his grandparents, Jacinto Gutierrez, Cresencia Trevino, and Florencio Trevino in the embrace of their eternal love.
Known as the jokester of the family, Omar was the one who always brought laughter to gatherings, effortlessly making everyone feel at ease. His outgoing nature and love for life shone through in everything he did. He had a flair for dressing up, a keen appreciation for the latest cars, and a personality that was always "extra." Truly, Omar embodied the motto "go big or go home," leaving a memorable impact on all those fortunate enough to know him.
In remembrance of Omar's vibrant spirit and the joy he brought to our lives, visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass from 11 AM to 9 PM. A rosary will take place at 7 PM that same evening.
The following day, Friday, January 17, 2025, there will be a Mass celebrated at 10 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Ingleside, Texas. As we gather to honor his life and legacy, we will lay him to rest with love and reverence at Aransas Memorial Park in Rockport, Texas.
As we reflect on Omar's life, we are reminded of how precious and fleeting our time together is. Let us celebrate the joy he brought to us all, cherishing the memories we shared and the laughter that will echo in our hearts forever. Omar Amador Trevino Gutierrez may be gone from our sight, but he will never be forgotten. His spirit will continue to inspire us to embrace life with enthusiasm and love.
May he rest in peace.
