Oliver Tolliver

On April 13, 1960 Oliver Theadore (Teddy) Tolliver, Sr. was born to Olivia & Henry Tolliver in Beeville, Texas. He attended Jackson Elementary in Beeville. He also attended Rockport-Fulton High School. Teddy married Patricia Guerrero and from this union 6 children were born. Although he grew up in the church, he didn’t accept Jesus until he was in his 20’s. He never lost the love of God in his heart, and he did everything he could to share that gift with everyone he met. He loved to fish. He was the Master Fisherman because he had a top-secret hole where he pulled out the big ones. He was called home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2021 in Rockport, Texas

Teddy was preceded in death by his mother and father. He leaves to mourn 7 children: Jessica Pena of Groveland, FL; Jennifer (Lester) Tucker of Hot Springs, AR; Sophia Wright of Lonestar, TX; Rosie (Pete) Guzman of Rockport, TX; Antionette (Charles) Miller of Hot Springs, AR; Oliver (Jennifer) Tolliver, Jr. of Rockport, TX; Olivia (Vincent) Henry of Hot Springs, AR; Brother Bobby Lewis, Sr. of Rockport, TX; sister, Linda (James) Lewis of Houston, TX; and Godson, Jimmy (Cindy) Heyward of Houston, TX. Also left to mourn are 25 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Funeral service conducted by Pastor John Parker will begin at 10:00a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 also at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Rockport, TX. Committal will follow at 1:00p.m. at Saint Rose Cemetery in Beeville, TX.
