Norma Linda Nañez, 56, beloved Mother, was called to her eternal rest on August 18, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on July 22, 1962 in Sinton, TX, born to Santos and Maria Nañez.
Norma was preceded in death by her father Santos Nañez; two sisters, Angelita Hernandez and Nicolasa Nañez; one brother, Santos Nañez Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Maria Martinez Nañez; fiance, Cary Strempel; three sons, Anthony Nañez, Timothy (Beatrice) Leyva and Ronald Edward (Marissa) Leyva; three daughters, Sylvia Clara (Jason) Lopez, Jennifer Leyva and Kay Katherine Leyva; two brothers, Benito (Lupe) Nañez and Israel (Margie) Nañez; three sisters, Frances (Ricardo) Castro, Maria (Guadalupe) Encina and Thelma Nañez; nineteen grandchildren, Taylor, Alisa, Aubry, Abel, Isaac, Jaydin, Lennox, Micaela, Christian, Santos, Braison, Arnold, John Paul, Estrella, Elliott, Mercy, Josie, Trinity and Roy; and one great-great-grandchild, Sebastian.
Norma loved to dance and enjoyed spending time with her family above all. She loved to travel and was an active Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns Fan, supporting her teams and attending games on every opportunity that she had. Her smile will always be remembered and her laughter will forever echo in our hearts.
A Family Viewing will be held at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home on Wednesday, 22nd of August, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited on August 22, 2018 at 7:00 PM at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Aransas Pass, TX.
