Nona Maley

Nona Grace Maley passed away September 30, 2017. She was 81 years old. She was born August 14, 1936 in Sebastian, Texas to Okley and Melva (Ruth) West.

She was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Ingleside, Texas and over the years held several positions within the church. She was an artist in multiple mediums. A mother and grandmother figure to all. Both she and her late husband Bob shared a lifelong love of all animals especially hummingbirds.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Okley and Melva (Ruth) West; husband, Robert "Bob" Maley; sisters, Betty Elliott and Cleo Ayoub; brothers-in-law, John Elliott, Dave Ayoub, and Don Spiegelhoff.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Fuentes of Ingleside, Texas; sons, Ray "Buddy" White and his wife, Marlys of Ingleside, Texas, Todd Maley of Garland, Texas, Gary and Mike Maley both of Harlingen, Texas; sister, Joyce Spiegelhoff of Ingleside, Texas; grandchildren, Dereck, Tearle, Montana, Caitlin ,Carly, Jody, Daffney, Siarra, and Tim; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:00 am at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass, Texas. Burial will follow at the Palms Memorial Gardens in Portland, Texas.
