With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nita Ann Ward, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, on July 27, 2024, in Rockport, Texas. Born on March 17, 1955, Nita graced the world with her presence for 69 incredible years before her peaceful departure. Nita was a beacon of kindness and generosity in her community, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her unwavering love and compassion will forever be remembered by her family and friends.
Nita had a deep passion for making crafts. From knitting and sewing to painting and scrapbooking, she found immense joy and fulfillment in crafting. Her creations were more than just beautiful objects; they were expressions of her love and care, given freely to family and friends.
Preceded in death by her late husband Nelson Ward; father, Leo Edward Dean.
She leaves behind cherished life partner Daniel Naranjo; mother Georgia Swanner; two sons, Anthony Ward and Larry Ward; two daughters Zarita Ramsey and Sharon Ward; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Who will always hold her dear in their hearts. Nita's spirit of joy and warmth will live on through the lives she touched.
In this time of grief, let us remember Nita's radiant soul and the impact she made on those around her. She may have departed this world, but her memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
