Nicolasa Flores Tijerina

Nicolasa Flores Tijerina went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2019, in Corpus Christi, TX at the age of 98. Nicolasa was born in Victoria, TX on October 22, 1920, to Higinio Flores Sr. and Eugenia Longoria.

Mrs. Tijerina was preceded in death by her husband, Jesus Javier Tijerina; one daughter, Maria (+Juan) Martinez; her parents, Higinio Sr. and Eugenia Flores; one grandson, Juan J.J. Martinez Jr.; one great-great-granddaughter, Nichole Peña; one great-great-grandson Alexander Nicolas Silva; eight siblings, Antonio Flores, Julia Flores Garza, Olivia Flores, Marcelo Flores, Thomas Flores, Higinio L. Flores JR., Leonardo Flores and Samuel Flores.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Pedro F. (Nellie); five grandchildren, Terry Tijerina Milam, Pete Tijerina Jr., Anna Martinez, Dolores Martinez, and Paula Jones; eight great-grandchildren, Pete, Cassidy, Tyler, Jacquelyn, John-Wiliam Stone, Miranda Stone, Danielle Peña and Stephen Whitney; two great-great-grandchildren, Emilie Stone and Mary Stone.

She will be missed and loved dearly by all her family and loved ones.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Saint Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Aransas Pass, TX. Christian Burial will follow at Aransas Memorial Park in Rockport, TX.
