Nadine Miller

Nadine Katie Thekla Penshorn Miller passed away June 11, 2020 at the age of 90 at Angel Bright Hospice in Corpus Christi, Texas. Nadine was born in San Antonio, Texas, August 12, 1929 to Oscar John Penshorn and Awilla Frieda Lenz Penshorn.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Robert “Bill” Miller Jr., father, mother and brother Leroy Oscar Penshorn.

She is survived by her two children: Pamella Ann Miller Cooke, William Robert “Bill” Miller III, and wife D’Ann.

Having previously resided in Ingleside, she moved to Floresville before returning back to Ingleside eight years ago.

Her grandchildren are: Colby Cooke and wife Stacey, Kari Cooke, Travis Miller and wife Alicia, Katie Miller Elrod and husband Ryan.

A wife, mother and loving grandmother, Nadine (Mamaw) was also very blessed having great grandchildren: Julie, Blaise and Case Cooke; Rylee, Wyatt, Jett and Maycee Miller; Garret and Shannon Elrod.

It was in her immense love for family, grandchildren and great grandchildren where Nadine felt her most joy and fulfillment in life. She will be remembered for her unconditional love for each and every member of her family.

Let’s also remember Nadine’s love of gardening. There wasn’t a day she was not outside planting, trimming, pulling stickers and weeds. She definitely passed along to her family her passion for gardening. More importantly, her greatest desire was to make sure her family was secure with the Love of Our Lord.

Nadine will be greatly missed; however, her family rejoices in her change of residence. She is with our Heavenly Father, loving husband, and other loved ones. We can picture her proudly pointing out all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to all the angels in Heaven.

A memorial service conducted by Pastor James Hudson will be held at 2:00p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home.
