Modesta Thorn

Modesta "Molly" Thorn went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2017. Molly was born on June 15, 1942 to Mariono & Narcisus Rico in Barstow, TX. She moved to Woodsboro from Odessa in 2004, to be near her daughter and family. Molly was a member of the Church of Christi in Odem and loved the Lord very much. She was greatly loved by her family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ray & Domingo Rico, and sister, Sally Cano. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Thorn of Woodsboro; loving daughter, Judy (Pete) Moreau of Woodsboro; brother, Paco Rico of Barstow, TX; three sisters, Rita (Troy) Dawson of Missouri, Simona (Felipe) Villalobos of Pecos, TX, and Alisha (Ben) Fuentes of San Antonio; granddaughter, Amber (Jon) Kuhns of Youngsville,LA; two great-grandchildren, Mason & Riley Kuhns of Youngsville, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass. A funeral service will be conducted at the Church of Christ in Odem, TX on Thursday, April 13, 2017, 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the LaRosa Cemetery in Woodsboro, TX.
