Miguel Martinez

Miguel Martinez, a loving husband, beloved father, adoring Popo, devoted brother and cherished friend, born on November 15,1944 in Laredo, Mexico, Peacefully passed away on January 2nd, 2025, in his home in Aransas Pass, Texas at the age of 80. 

Preceded in death by his Parents Miguel and Hilda Martinez, his nephew Tomas Flores, his niece Nora Hilda Martinez, his brother-in-law Elfego Martinez and loving daughter-in-law Heather Lynn Martinez. 

Left to carry his Legacy are his loving wife, Conchita Martinez and his four children: Ludivina (Mando) Diaz of Aransas Pass, Maribel (Rene) Diaz of Florida, Emmanuel (☦Heather) Martinez of Aransas Pass, and Isabel (Jacob) Flores of Aransas Pass. His cherished grandchildren: Tamara (Joe) Correa, Marisa Diaz, Nathanuel Diaz, Adan (Linda) Diaz, Sebastian Martinez, Ryder Martinez, Genesis Martinez, Zoe Flores, Nicholas Martinez and Ella Flores. 

Miguel is also survived by his loving brothers, sisters and in-laws: Ismael (Nora) Martinez, David (Rafaela) Martinez, Isabel (☦ Elfego) Martinez, and Concepcion de Lourdes (Sergio) Martinez, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and close family friends who loved him dearly. 

Family friends and others whose lives Miguel touched are invited to the Charlie Marshall Funeral home in Aransas Pass. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th, 2025 at 5:30pm with services starting at 6:30pm. 

Graveside Service will take place on January 7th, 2025, at Prairie View Cemetery, with the Procession beginning at 10am. 

Miguel’s family invites all who knew him to join in remembering his life, his kindness, and his enduring love for his family and friends.
