On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Michael Tan Nguyen, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at the age of 35.
Michael was born on September 19, 1984 in Rockport, Texas to Mui Pham and Quan Nguyen. He graduated from Rockport-Fulton High School and became an entrepreneur, opening a nail salon and his own food truck. On November 19, 2007, he married Shoko Nguyen and they raised two daughters, Sakurako Lena Nguyen and Nadeshiko Charissa Nguyen, and two sons, Taiga Michael Nguyen and Taiyo Michael Nguyen.
Michael had a passion for fitness, food, and fixing his cars. He started every day at the gym focusing on his health and wellness, inspiring others to do so too. He loved to eat with such a passion that he opened his own food truck, Bubble Chicken. In his time, he was a talented nail technician at his salon where he endlessly worked to perfect the nails and design of any manicure and pedicure imaginable.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Quan Nguyen.
He is survived by his wife, Shoko, his four children, Sakurako, Nadeshiko, Taiga, and Taiyo, his mother, Mui Pham, his brother, The, and his sisters, Nga, Karen, Stephanie, and Amie.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2020, from 10 a.m. ~ 7 p.m., Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m..
Memorial service to be announced at a later date.
