Michael E. Dietrich

Michael E. Dietrich, 77, of Rockport, Texas passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 7, 1947, to parents Raymond and Ella Mae Dietrich. Michael graduated from Harlandale Highschool and married the love of his life, Carey Dietrich on January 15, 1990. He had a career in the telecom industry at Northern Telecom and retired in 2002.

He had a strong passion for fishing, seashell collecting and Harly Davidson Motorcycles.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Cindy, Bradley, and Shane Dietrich. 

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Carey Dietrich, children, Devin DeLaGarza, Saran Walkosz, Nancy Barba, Davi Kay, James Warrach and Chris Warrach, 3 brothers, Darrell (Tina) Dietrich, Sonny (Judy) Dietrich and Troy Dietrich, nephews, Justin (Meredith) Dietrich, Dustin (Marissa) Dietrich, Cory Dietrich, and nieces Hailee (Ashley) Dietrich and Sherri Farley, 8 wonderful grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Michael will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Services will be held on January 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas.
